All of TSE products are free of chemicals and other damaging ingredients. Our ‘low toxicity’ approach will keep your hair healthy, feeling good, and looking good, which means you’ll also feel the same.
At The Salon Edit, we want to raise the bar for salon services; good hair isn’t just having colour that matches your skin tone (although that’s important). Good hair is healthy hair.

The root cause of a bad hair day (or days, let’s be real) is stress. So we’ve decided to say goodbye to crappy chemicals and de-stress your hair starting at the basin.

All products used at TSE basin are paraben, sulphate and chemical free. Instead, our shampoos, conditioners and treatments use active natural extracts, minerals and essential oils to deliver real benefits.

When it comes to colour and styling, we also use low-chemical and health-conscious solutions.
TSE brand of choice for hair colour is O&M: one of the first haircare companies in the world to produce professional-grade Ammonia, PPD and Resorcinol-free permanent hair colour.

So, here’s some background on TSE to help get us acquainted:
THE SALON EDIT first opened its doors in September 2020. We are a full-service hair salon offering our clients the very best in colour correction, styling, precision cutting, extensions and more.
All of our services are low toxicity, and everything at the basin is sulphate and paraben free - nasty chemicals aren’t good for our hair, so we keep them far away.
We are a group of highly trained professionals dedicated to providing every one of our clients with 100% satisfaction. Looking good and feeling good go hand-in-hand and we’re here to make sure everyone who sits in our chairs feels like their very best self. Or at least like their normal self, but with killer colour.
ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Chrystalla Dimarelis is the owner of THE SALON EDIT and has been a hairdresser for over 15 years.
Chrystalla worked under her own name with her own business ‘Chrystalla Hair’ for a few years before realising she wanted more. Chrystalla had a unique vision she wanted to bring to life and share with her customers. She wanted to build a team of inspired, hard-working young men and women who are just as passionate about hair care as she is.
And so, with some hustle, killer recruitment and an amazing renovation job, THE SALON EDIT was born.
